Having a journal and pen could be beneficial for this meditation.Â
Settle into a comfortable position free from distractions.
Recently I came across a homeless elderly woman at a street corner seeking help. Her face reflected a sense of desperate hopelessness that has lingered in my mind. It made me ponder on the repercussions of losing hope, which can result in a kind of spiritual homelessness.
Is your spirit going through spiritual homelessness, characterized by a lack of hope?
{Pause in His Presence}
Do you find yourself drained by prolonged suffering and pain, struggling to hold on to hope or on the brink of spiritual despair?
{Pause in His Presence}
This scenario brings to mind a poignant moment from the movie Titanic, where Rose (portrayed by Kate Winslet) is floating on a door in the freezing water, her voice barely audible as she seems to be losing the battle. She lets go of love, Leonardo DiCaprio, and resigns herself to solitude, awaiting her similar fate of death. Her hope diminishing. Yet, the faint whistle she manages to produce is enough for her rescue.
You might relate to this feeling today. You could be feeling completely exhausted, unseen, and overwhelmed by despair or pain, with your voice too feeble to contend.
Nevertheless, there is hope. Today hold on to your strength amidst vulnerability and cry out, "Help!"
Lord, we call out "help" to you today. Embrace your emotions by being fully present. Allow the Father to restore hope in your life.

Give God permission to fight your battles against the enemies in your life - whether they are generational, chronic, or seem insurmountable.
Gently soften your eyes and envision yourselves in a field, having attained the breakthroughs you have long pursued. See God triumphing over the enemy on your behalf.
How do you feel knowing you have a Defender fighting for you so you don't become spiritually homeless?

Can you envision yourself feeling joyful, content, and at peace, with your spirit revitalized?
What does that look like and feel like for you?
