Breath Prayer
Breath prayers involve the spiritual practice of stillness and focus on God, promoting calmness through controlled breathing. This practice is rooted in the Bible, particularly in Psalm 46:10, which encourages us to "be still" and acknowledge God's presence. The repetition of a short phrase or word in breath prayers is a way to internalize and meditate on God's Word, fostering a deeper connection with Him.

Rather than seeking strength or healing within ourselves, we turn to Christ, as emphasized in Philippians 4:19, where God promises to meet our needs. Ultimately, Christian prayer seeks to deepen our connection with God, as James 4:8 reminds us to "draw near to God. " Breath prayers play a significant role in this, helping us focus on this relationship and finding peace in His presence, thereby promoting a deep spiritual connection.
